Could you ever watch something for long enough that the world outside shuts down around you? Even if it was a documentary about sloths? Adam Smith is with you on that, but feels this end of the world isn’t all that it could’ve been.

Richard and Alice is a game that, narrative-wise, seems to be a cross between The Day After Tomorrow and The Purge. In the words of Shakin’ Stevens, “snow is falling/all around me”, but children aren’t playing or having fun, because civilisation has somewhat collapsed. Now you’re humanity’s last hope, and you’re kind of trapped in the middle of it.
